1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Konselit Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the VI BASE mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

VI BASE is an independent, unofficial fan application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

2. Information We Process

Notification and device information

If you grant notification permission, the App processes a push notification token, a randomly generated installation identifier, your device platform, App version, and your notification preferences. This information is sent to our backend so we can deliver optional news and countdown notifications.

Information stored locally

Saved stories, viewed-story history, feed and article caches, notification preferences, theme settings, and related App settings are stored locally on your device. They are not used to create a user profile and are not sold.

Photos and media

The App requests access to your photo library only when you choose to save an image. The selected image is written to your device’s media library. We do not upload or collect your personal photos.

Technical information

Our service providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to operate and secure their services, such as IP address, request timestamps, device or browser information, and diagnostic logs.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not require an account and does not intentionally collect your name, home address, precise location, contacts, camera content, payment information, or advertising identifiers. The App does not contain advertising, in-app purchases, or behavioral analytics.

4. How We Use Information

• To provide optional push notifications you have enabled.
• To remember your App preferences and saved content.
• To retrieve and display news, media, and database content.
• To maintain service reliability, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors.
• To comply with applicable law and enforce our rights.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell or rent personal information. We use service providers only as needed to operate the App:

• Supabase — backend hosting, content delivery, and storage of push registration records.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging and Expo — delivery of push notifications, depending on your platform.
• YouTube and Rockstar Games — embedded or externally linked videos and media. Their own privacy policies apply when their content or services are loaded.
• News publishers and external services — when you open an article, external link, or embedded content, the relevant provider may receive standard connection information such as your IP address and user agent under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or in connection with a business transfer.

6. Permissions and Your Choices

• Notifications: You can enable or disable news and countdown notifications in the App and change system permission at any time in your device settings.
• Photo library: Permission is requested only when you save an image and can be revoked in device settings.
• Local data: Uninstalling the App generally removes locally stored preferences, saved stories, viewed-story history, and cached content. Available cache and history controls may also be used from within the App.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Local information remains on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall it. Push registration records are retained while needed to provide notifications and maintain the service. Invalid or disabled tokens may be removed periodically.

Because the App does not use user accounts, there is no in-app account deletion process. To request deletion of a push registration record or ask a privacy question, contact us at konselit@gmail.com. We may ask for limited information needed to identify the relevant installation.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no network transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used in accordance with applicable law.

10. Children’s Privacy

VI BASE is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

11. External Links

The App may open third-party websites, applications, videos, or media. We do not control their privacy practices. Review the privacy policies of those services before providing information to them.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or legal requirements. The revised effective date will be shown at the top of this page.
